Aber side armor skirts (Schürzen) for the Jagdpanzer IV L/48 and L/70(V) in 1:35 scale is a photo-etched metal detail set, not a standalone model.
Responsibility details are not available.
An Aber photo-etched metal detail set in 1:35 scale. It holds thin side armor skirts, the Schürzen, together with their brackets, which replace the thicker plastic parts from the box. The photo-etched plates look realistically thin and can easily be bent or damaged for the effect of combat wear.
The Jagdpanzer IV was a German tank destroyer built on the Panzer IV chassis. The L/48 version carried a shorter 75 mm gun, and the later L/70(V) a longer and more powerful 75 mm gun. The side skirts protected the running gear against shaped charge and anti-tank fire.
Separate the parts with a sharp knife, bend them gently and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue. Degrease the metal and prime it with a base coat. The skirts look best with burrs, bends and missing pieces; add washes and dust effects.
This is a detail accessory, not a model. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
