Side skirts for the Jagdtiger is an Aber photo-etched detail set in 1:35 scale. Thin metal side skirts for the Jagdtiger heavy tank destroyer.
Responsibility details are not available.
A photo-etched detail set from the Polish manufacturer Aber in 1:35 scale. It holds the side armor skirts, the Schürzen, for the German Jagdtiger heavy tank destroyer. It replaces the coarser plastic skirts with true thin photo-etched sheet complete with brackets. It is not a vehicle model but an accessory that sharpens the build.
The Jagdtiger was the heaviest German tank destroyer in series production in the Second World War, built on a lengthened Tiger II chassis and armed with a massive gun. The side skirts protected the upper part of the running gear.
Separate the photo-etched parts with a knife on a cutting surface and make the bends along the grooves with a bending tool. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue. Degrease the metal before painting and apply a primer. The skirts can be bent or damaged for a realistic battle look.
This is a photo-etched detail set, not a vehicle model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
