A precisely turned metal barrel with a separately turned muzzle and muzzle brake replaces the massive plastic barrel of the base model. The 152.4 mm ML-20S gun-howitzer was the armament of the Soviet heavy self-propelled gun ISU-152, nicknamed Zveroboy, the beast slayer, for its ability to destroy even the heaviest German tanks. The weapon served for direct and indirect fire and for breaking through fortifications. The massive barrel with its muzzle brake is a conspicuous feature of the vehicle.
