Responsibility details are not available.
This item is a masking set from the Czech manufacturer Eduard. It holds pre-cut self-adhesive masks, which are stuck onto the model before spraying and protect the areas that are to stay in another color or bare. It is not a kit and not a set of photo-etched parts, so the model itself has to be obtained separately.
The Su-122 was a Soviet self-propelled gun of the Second World War built on the chassis of the T-34 medium tank. The 122 mm weapon was mounted in a fixed superstructure without a rotating turret, which gave the vehicle a low silhouette and a simple design. The description keeps to the technical side of the real subject.
On armored vehicle models masks usually deal with the small areas that are sprayed differently from the hull, for example glazed and glossy fittings or parts of the running gear. What exactly this particular set covers will only be clear from the contents of the package, but the working principle is always the same: degrease the surface, position the mask dry, press the edges down and spray in thin coats. Vehicles are moreover often worked with layering of paint, washes and pigments, so take the mask off before you start the weathering, otherwise dust will be sealed under the edge and the transition will look dirty.
The package contains masks only. The model, paints and glue are not included.
