A set of fine photo-etched brass parts from the Polish manufacturer Aber. It is not a kit or a finished model: it is an aftermarket accessory for plastic models of the Soviet self-propelled tank destroyers SU-85M and SU-100 in 1:35 scale. Both vehicles were built on the chassis of the T-34 and differed mainly in the caliber of the gun.
Photo-etch can refine and add fenders, tool clamps, lifting eyes, grilles, protective elements, clips and other small items. The model thus gains thinner edges and a more varied surface that better matches real combat vehicles.
Separate the parts with a sharp scalpel on a hard surface and make the bends over a ruler or in a photo-etch bending tool. Glue with super glue (cyanoacrylate) or with epoxy. For the patina on this kind of vehicle, washes and pigments imitating mud and dust suit well; treat the metal with a primer for metal before painting.
This is a metal accessory for a model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
