The injection-molded plastic kit in 1:35 scale from the manufacturer Dragon works out the German anti-aircraft tank Flakpanzer IV Kugelblitz from the end of the Second World War. The package of the Smart Kit line comes out of modernized parts of the chassis of the Panzer IV and fills them out with a new upper part of the hull and a rotating turret. The turret can be turned and the barrels are movable in elevation.
The Kugelblitz (ball lightning) was a German anti-aircraft tank built on the proven chassis of the Panzer IV. Unlike the older anti-aircraft vehicles with an open superstructure, it was given a fully enclosed turret rotating all the way round with a pair of rapid-firing 3 cm cannon. Only a few prototype pieces came about by the end of the war, so the vehicle is among the rare and collectable types.
Finish the running gear and the inner details before closing the hull up. Dark base shades and a subsequent lightening of the edges suit the tracks and the lower part. Finish the final look off with washes and pigments for dust and mud effects.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
