This is a figure cast in resin in 1:35 scale. It shows one German armored infantryman (Panzergrenadier) of a Waffen-SS unit in the Second World War period. The set carries the designation No. 2 and differs from the No. 1 variant of the same line in pose and equipment — both figures can be combined into one scene. It is made by the Polish brand Mantis Miniatures, which specializes in resin figures for 1:35 scale.
Armored infantry made up the motorized and armored infantry that fought in conjunction with tanks. The figure matches the equipment and armament of German infantry of the second half of the war. The historical subject is treated factually as a reference for modelers.
First wash the parts free of mold release agent in lukewarm water with a mild detergent. Cut the casting blocks off with a sharp knife and sand the surfaces wet and with protection of the airways. Glue them with cyanoacrylate glue. Apply a primer to the resin; build the uniform from the base, bring the recesses out with a wash and the edges with a dry brush.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
