The M60 tank was created in the United States at the end of the 1950s and in the M60A1 to M60A3 versions it served with a whole range of armies. The M60 AVLB bridging vehicle was also built on its chassis. A chapter of its own is formed by the Israeli upgrades under the names Magach 6B, Gal and Gal Batash, which received new armor and further equipment. The road wheels always stay in plain view on a model, and that is why they are often replaced with separately made parts with crisper definition.
The set contains road wheels of the steel pattern in 1:35 scale for the vehicles listed, in the second shape variant designated as type 2. Check this against the manufacturer's data on the box. Whether a particular machine carried type 1 or type 2 can be told from photographs of that vehicle.
Cut the excess material off with a sharp blade a little away from the part and sand the remainder back carefully, so that the circular outline of the wheel is preserved. Wash the parts in lukewarm water with a drop of detergent before gluing and let them dry. Choose the glue according to the manufacturer's instructions: on parts that are not polystyrene, plastic cement has no effect. Seat the wheels so that they sit in one plane, otherwise the track cannot be run straight.
The package contains the replacement parts stated. The vehicle kit, the tracks, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
