1:35 T-34/76 Model 1940 - Russian cavalry T-34

T-34/76 Model 1940 decal set in 1:35 scale

This is a set of waterslide decals in 1:35 scale for adding markings to a model of the Soviet T-34/76 medium tank in the Model 1940 version. The set widens the marking options of a plastic model with period subjects on the theme of the so-called tank columns. It is not a kit and not a finished model, but additional decals.

The real subject

The T-34/76 was a Soviet medium tank, and its early Model 1940 version was among the first production machines of this successful design. It was marked out by its sloped armor, its wide tracks and a 76 mm gun. In its day it combined mobility, firepower and resilience in a single vehicle and became one of the defining tanks of the war.

Application tips

The decals go on best over a smooth gloss varnish, which keeps the area around the subject from dulling. Coat the area under the decal with gloss varnish, release the decal in lukewarm water and once it is in place use a decal softener so that it settles onto rivets and broken surfaces as well. Finally even the whole model out with matte varnish.

Who the set is for

• advanced builders who want to set their model apart from the basic boxing

The set holds decals only. The model, paints and varnish are not included in the package.
