An injection-molded plastic kit of the Soviet T-37A amphibious light tank in 1:35 scale. The Izhorsky configuration refers to the type of welded hull. The model is made up of a multi-part hull and turret, the running gear and accessories; it contains a clear part and a decal sheet. The exact number of parts and schemes is given on the packaging.
The T-37A was the first series-produced Soviet amphibious tank, introduced from 1932. It was created with inspiration from the British Vickers-Carden-Loyd amphibious light tanks. It was carried by a light hull with float boxes, moved through water with a propeller and was armed with a machine gun in the turret. It served for reconnaissance and liaison and was deployed in the opening phases of the Second World War.
Finish the running gear and the tracks first, and only then close the hull up. Use liquid modeling cement on the plastic, apply a primer before painting and spray the shades with an airbrush. Create the patina with dark washes and dust pigments on the lower areas.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
