Responsibility details are not available.
A photo-etched detailing set in 1:35 scale from the Korean brand Tetra Model Works. The set is not a standalone model but an accessory meant to be fitted to a matching plastic kit of the Soviet T-64A tank in its 1981 version. The fine photo-etched parts replace the coarser plastic elements and add details that are missing.
The T-64A was a Soviet main battle tank that broke new ground for its day. It was one of the first to combine composite armor, a 125 mm smoothbore gun with an autoloader and a compact powerpack. The 1981 version is among the later modernizations of this long-secret design.
Separate the photo-etched parts with a sharp knife and make the bends along the etched score lines with a bending tool. Bond the metal with super glue, and before painting degrease it and go over it with a primer for metal. The hull sides, the fenders and the fine grilles show at their best once a wash and dust pigments have been applied.
This is an add-on photo-etched set. The base plastic kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
