An injection-molded plastic kit of the Polish TKS tankette in the version designated B, in 1:35 scale from the Polish maker Mirage Hobby. The model captures the compact hull, the tracked running gear and the superstructure with its armament. It is assembled and painted by the builder.
The TKS was a Polish tankette derived from the British Carden-Loyd design, widespread in the Polish army in the 1930s. It was a small, low and mobile tracked vehicle intended for reconnaissance and liaison duties, usually armed with a machine gun and, in some of the vehicles, with a cannon of 20 mm caliber. The version designation refers to the engine used.
Finish the running gear before closing the hull. We recommend thin cement for plastic, cleaning up the parting lines and spraying over a base coat (primer) with an airbrush. Fine-tune the dust and mud on the tracks with pigments and washes, and bring out the small detail with dry-brushing.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
