An Aber photo-etched metal detail set in 1:35 scale. It holds thin photo-etched parts for the upper hull armor of the late form of the Sd.Kfz. 250 light half-track carrier of the older, Alte, type. They replace the thicker plastic parts and sharpen the edges, the angles and the riveting of the fighting compartment.
The Sd.Kfz. 250 was a German light armored half-track of the Second World War. The older form, the Alte, had a faceted, many-sided body; it served in many specialized versions with reconnaissance and motorized units.
Bend the photo-etched plates exactly along the scored lines on a bending tool and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue. Degrease the metal and prime it. Paint the interior of the fighting compartment before you close up the body; pick out the edges with a wash.
This is a detail accessory, not a model. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
