An injection-molded plastic kit of the elegant Mercedes-Benz Type 320 sedan in the form of a staff car of the German army, completed with figures of staff personnel. The kit is made by the Ukrainian company ICM, known for its well worked-out range of cars of the Second World War period.
The Mercedes-Benz Type 320 (factory designation W142) was a luxury upper middle class car of the second half of the 1930s. Once the war broke out, a number of these sedans were seized or taken over by the army and served as staff and liaison vehicles for carrying officers. The combination of civilian elegance and military service makes the Type 320 a rewarding modeling subject that stands apart from the usual combat vehicles.
Paint the body as a whole and separately from the chassis - on a car, smooth and clean paint is half the result. A gloss or semi-gloss top coat and fine polishing help. Paint the figures separately by their main areas, and oil colors or fine acrylic glazes bring the faces to life. The combination of the car with the figures positively invites building a simple diorama.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
