A resin set from LZ models in 1:35 scale with a turned metal gun barrel and a photo-etched sheet. It makes it possible to build the American light 75 mm recoilless rifle on its firing tripod. It is a standalone model of the weapon, ideal for a diorama with infantry as well as alongside vehicles.
The American 75 mm recoilless rifle was a light infantry weapon from the end of the Second World War, then widely deployed in the Korean War. Thanks to venting the propellant gases to the rear it had practically no recoil, so it could be carried and fired from a light tripod or from a mount on a vehicle. It gave the infantry mobile fire support.
Wash the mold release residue off the parts, separate the casting blocks and glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). The turned barrel only needs degreasing and shading. Bend the photo-etched parts over an edge and wear respiratory protection while sanding.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
