DEF Model 1:35 US Marines Jeep Driver Korea Winter 1950/51 is a resin figure of a driver in winter kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a standalone resin figure of an American Marine in the pose of a driver, captured in winter kit from the Korean War of 1950/51. The figure is shaped to be seated behind the wheel of a light off-road vehicle (a jeep) in 1:35 scale and so to round out a model of a vehicle or a diorama. It is neither a vehicle nor a kit of the jeep.
In the winter of 1950/51 the US Marine Corps moved through the demanding snow-covered terrain of Korea. Drivers and crews wore heavy parkas and layered winter kit. The figure captures the typical driving pose of the period and the field gear.
Wash the parts free of mold release agent, cut off the casting blocks and glue with cyanoacrylate glue; protect your airways while sanding. Match the pose and the position of the hands to the particular vehicle before gluing it in place. Paint the winter uniform in muted shades, bring out the recesses with washes and model the folds with oil paints.
This is a figure, not a model of a vehicle. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted; the vehicle, glue and paints are not included in the package.
