A collector resin set, Vietnamese Farmer with Water Buffalo, in 1:35 scale from MAiM: a Vietnamese farmer with a water buffalo for civilian and historical dioramas.
Responsibility details are not available.
A collector resin set in 1:35 scale made by MAiM. It captures a civilian scene, a Vietnamese farmer with a water buffalo (Büffel in German), as modelers know it from the rural setting of Southeast Asia. The set is meant to be assembled, painted and used to bring dioramas to life; it suits civilian as well as historical scenes. The exact number of parts and variants is not stated here.
The water buffalo was and still is the typical working animal of the Vietnamese countryside; a scene of a farmer with a buffalo adds credibility to a diorama set in Southeast Asia. The subject is treated factually and neutrally, without stereotypes.
Wash the mold release agent off the resin parts, cut off the casting blocks and clean the surfaces up. Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate) and wear respiratory protection while sanding. Apply a primer before painting; bring out the face, the clothing and the buffalo's coat with shading, a dry brush and washes, and add muddy legs and surfaces with pigments.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
