The set holds replacement wheels and tires in resin for building a model of the 11CV staff car in 1:35 scale. It is the first wheel variant of this range. It is not a model of the vehicle but a detail accessory replacing the wheels from the Tamiya base kit; the tires have a sag shaped in for a realistic look of a loaded car.
The 11CV (Citroën Traction Avant) was a French passenger car with front-wheel drive. After the occupation of France the German army made wide use of it as a staff, command and liaison car. Its elegant body and low silhouette made it a popular service car.
Wash the parts free of mold release agent, cut off the casting blocks and glue with cyanoacrylate glue. Paint the rims and the tire treads separately, and masking will help. Wear respiratory protection while sanding.
This is an add-on set of wheels, not a complete model. Paints, glue and the base kit are not included in the package.
