The set contains replacement wheels and tires in resin for building a model of the German L4500 R Maultier heavy cargo truck in 1:35 scale. It is the second wheel variant of this range, with a different finish from the basic set. It is not a model of the vehicle but a detail accessory that takes the place of the wheels from the base kit; the tires have a shaped bulge where they touch the road. The target kit is Zvezda.
The L4500 R Maultier was a half-track heavy cargo truck from Mercedes-Benz: it had a tracked running gear at the rear for moving through mud and across country and steered wheels at the front. In the Second World War the Wehrmacht used it for supply, above all on the Eastern Front.
Wash the parts free of mold release agent residue, cut the casting blocks off and glue them with cyanoacrylate. Paint the rims and the tire tread separately; masking helps. Sand with your airways protected.
This is an add-on set of wheels, not a complete model. Paints, glue and the base kit are not included in the package.
