1:35 Flakpanzer V with the quadruple 20 mm MG 151/20 — photo-etched set from Voyager Model is an add-on set for a plastic kit you already own, not a model. The basic set of photo-etched brass is cut for the Takom 2105 kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of photo-etched parts from brass sheet in 1:35 scale, meant to be fitted to the finished Takom 2105 plastic kit. The model of the vehicle is not part of the package. The manufacturer lists it as a set in the basic scope.
This is a variant of the German project for an anti-aircraft vehicle on the chassis of the Panther tank, in which a quadruple mounting of 20 mm MG 151/20 weapons was envisaged instead of gun armament of a larger caliber. The MG 151/20 was originally an aircraft weapon and in ground mountings it was used in groups of several pieces because of its high rate of fire. The vehicle stayed at the proposal stage and series production never took place.
Metal parts respond to weathering differently from plastic. Washes and filters run off brass faster, because the surface is smoother, so apply them over a flat clear coat, which gives them something to hold on to. Worn edges on exposed corners do not have to be painted: once the paint has dried, it is enough to run fine abrasive paper or a graphite stick lightly along an edge and the metal will show through by itself. On fine mesh and perforated parts, watch out for pigments, which settle in the openings and block them; remove any excess with a soft brush while it is still dry.
The set is an accessory for a model, not a kit. The kit, glue, paints and tools are not included in the package.
