TBM-3W Guppy masking set 1:72 (Peewit)

The set holds pre-cut self-adhesive masks for a 1:72 model of the carrier-based anti-submarine aircraft Grumman TBM-3W Guppy. The machine came about as a conversion of the Avenger torpedo bomber and carried a prominent radar radome on its belly. The masks follow the divided frames of the glazed canopy exactly, so they protect the glass while you spray and give crisp transitions between frame and clear panel. This is not an aircraft kit but an accessory that makes painting it easier.

How to use the masks

Peel the individual masks off and stick them exactly onto the glazing of the model.
Press the edges down against paint creep and spray the frames.
Once the paint is dry, take the masks off to reveal clean paint boundaries.
