Responsibility details are not available.
This set from Voyager Model is a brass photo-etched set of fenders and track covers for a model of the American M4A3E8 Sherman tank in 1:35 scale. It replaces the thick plastic fenders and the upper covers of the running gear with thin photo-etched parts with brackets and a realistic pattern. It is neither a complete kit nor a full detail set but a focused set. The set is tailored to the Tamiya 25175 kit.
The M4A3E8 Sherman, nicknamed the Easy Eight after the E8 designation, was an American medium tank of the end of the Second World War. It was characterized by HVSS suspension and wider tracks, which improved its ride. It served at the end of the war and in the conflicts that followed. Thin photo-etched fenders and track covers look more faithful than the plastic parts.
Separate the photo-etched parts from the fret with a sharp knife, make the bends over a bending tool or a metal ruler and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue, or with two-part epoxy. Degrease the parts before painting and lay down a primer for metal surfaces; it is best to spray the paint with an airbrush so that the fine detail does not get flooded. Fill the gap between the photo-etched part and the plastic with filler.
This is an add-on photo-etched set, not a complete model. The base kit, glue, paints and other accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
