A color photo-etched set of figures from the Czech manufacturer Eduard. These are not resin or plastic castings but color-printed photo-etched parts from thin sheet metal. They serve to people the decks of models of Imperial Japanese Navy warships in 1:350 scale. The pre-printed colors allow quick use without the demanding painting of tiny figures.
A photo-etched sheet with figures of sailors in various poses, finished in color. The figures are separated from the fret, formed a little where needed and glued onto the model's deck. In the larger ship scale of 1:350 the details show up better than in smaller scales.
Separate the parts with a sharp knife or photo-etch scissors on a hard surface. Use a small amount of super glue (cyanoacrylate) for bonding. It is worth sealing the color surface with a matte varnish once the parts are in place.
This is an accessory to a model, not a standalone kit. The base model is not included in the package.
