A universal photo-etched detail set from Hasegawa in 1:350 scale. It is not a model of a ship but a set of fine metal parts with which you will refine and sharpen the build of models of Japanese warships. It holds generally usable elements of ship fittings.
Photo-etched parts replace coarser plastic elements and add detail that cannot be molded into plastic. A metal rendering looks more realistic and raises the level of a finished model markedly. The set is universal, so you will use it on several builds of the same scale.
Separate the parts with a sharp knife on a hard mat, and make the bends on a bending tool or along a rule. Glue them with cyanoacrylate in small amounts. Degrease them before painting and apply a primer suitable for metal.
