An injection-molded plastic kit of the diesel-electric submarine Type 035 (Ming class) of the PLA Navy, in 1:350 scale from the manufacturer Hobby Boss. The model has a detailed full hull with an engraved surface and comes with photo-etched parts and a stand. It is meant to be assembled, painted and displayed.
The Type 035, Ming in the NATO code, was the first independently developed Chinese diesel-electric submarine, based on the design of the Soviet Romeo class with a number of changes. It served in several variants for many decades and became one of the most widespread submarines of its kind in that country's service.
Glue the hull halves with a thin cement, sand the joint smooth and clean it up. We recommend a primer and an airbrush; you can bring a uniform matte shade to life by accenting the hatches and the seams. Glue the photo-etched railings of the sail, the propeller and the small parts with cyanoacrylate glue and set the model on the stand supplied.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
