The set brings six miniature injection-molded models of the SH-60F anti-submarine helicopter in 1:350 scale. It serves as an accessory to a model of an American aircraft carrier - you can place the helicopters on the deck, in the hangar or on the launch spots. The box holds clear glazing parts and a decal sheet with US Navy markings.
The SH-60F Ocean Hawk is the shipboard variant of the Sikorsky Seahawk family. Within a carrier battle group it provided close anti-submarine protection and search and rescue service. It used a dipping sonar and sonobuoys to find submarines.
The rotors and the landing gear are very fine - work with tweezers and glue with liquid cement for plastic in small drops. Mask the glazing and spray with an airbrush. It is practical to paint the models while still on the sprue and to place them on the deck only at the end.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
