Eduard WWII German doors and windows 1:350 is a photo-etched detail set of doors and windows for building German warships. It is not a model but an accessory that refines a plastic kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
This photo-etched set from the Czech maker Eduard brings a set of fine doors, hatches and windows in 1:350 scale for detailing German warships of the Second World War period. It is neither a ship kit nor a finished model but a universal accessory of thin metal sheet that replaces the coarser plastic parts of a kit with more faithful etched details.
The set is intended for models of the German war fleet of the Second World War, such as battleships, cruisers and other Kriegsmarine vessels. In the small 1:350 scale it is precisely doors, windows and hatches that injection-molded plastic cannot capture finely enough, so etched metal refines them markedly.
Separate the parts with a sharp knife on a hard surface and glue them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Before gluing, it is a good idea to remove the original plastic details from the model carefully. Etched metal shapes well in a bending tool, and it should be degreased before painting. An airbrush and a fine brush for touching in the edges are recommended.
The set holds photo-etched metal parts only. The base kit, glue, paints and other accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
