A photo-etched add-on set in 1:350 for the F6F carrier fighter with rockets and drop tanks. According to the name it is prepared for models of the Dragon brand.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Grumman F6F Hellcat was an American carrier fighter of the Second World War and the main fighter of the US Navy in the fighting in the Pacific. In the later part of the war it also carried out strike duties, when it carried unguided rockets under the wing and a drop tank under the fuselage for greater range. It is exactly this form of the aircraft that the set is aimed at.
These are photo-etched metal parts in 1:350 for F6F aircraft with rockets and drop tanks. In such a small scale, etching is the only way to get surfaces of a realistic thickness onto a model; crisp edges and a fine outline then show mainly on the deck of an aircraft carrier, where a whole row of aircraft stands side by side. The application to models of the Dragon brand follows from the name itself.
Cut the individual parts out of the fret with a sharp blade on a hard surface and hold them with tweezers. Make the folds along a rule or in a bending tool. Degrease the surfaces before gluing and make the joint with cyanoacrylate glue or two-part resin; cement for polystyrene does not hold on metal. Apply both paint and primer in thin coats.
This is an add-on set for Dragon models in 1:350. The exact contents of the package are given in the instructions from the supplier. The kit, paints and glue are not included, unless stated otherwise.
