Responsibility details are not available.
A set of turned metal barrels for the model of the Japanese battleship IJN Fuso in her 1944 fit, 1:350 scale, made by MASTER. It holds 12 barrels of the main 356 mm caliber (36 cm) and 14 barrels of the secondary 152 mm caliber (15 cm). Turned metal has a straight bore and a crisp muzzle, and it is sturdier than plastic barrels.
IJN Fuso was a Japanese battleship of the class that bore her name, with a distinctive tall pagoda superstructure. She took part in many operations in the Second World War and was sunk in the night of 25 October 1944 in the Battle of Surigao Strait – one of the last big gunnery battles in history.
Separate the barrels from the gate, adjust the seating pin and glue them in with cyanoacrylate glue. Metal barrels let you line up the elevation of the main guns faithfully in one direction. Apply a primer to the metal before painting.
The set serves as a turned replacement for parts of the base kit; on its own it is not a ship model. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
