Precisely turned brass barrels for the Bofors 12 cm/50 Model 1934/1936 naval gun (120 mm caliber, that is 4.7 inches, 50 calibers length) in 1:400 scale from the MASTER company. The package contains 7 pieces and replaces the plastic barrels with a more accurate metal part.
The Swedish Bofors 12 cm/50 gun in the 1934/1936 model made up the main caliber of the Polish prewar destroyers Blyskawica and Grom and of the minelayer Gryf. These were modern dual-purpose guns with good range.
Turned brass gives perfectly straight barrels with a symmetrical muzzle and sharp detail that a plastic molding cannot reach. Seven pieces cover the complete main armament of the model.
Cut off the plastic barrel, widen the hole with a fine drill and glue the metal part in with cyanoacrylate. Degrease the brass before painting and apply a primer for metal.
The accessory is supplied unpainted. Glue and paints are not included in the package.
