The Skoda 1100 MBX was a two-door coupe derived from the production Skoda 1000 MB range with a rear-mounted engine. It differed from the ordinary sedan above all in its pair of wide frameless doors and the absence of a center pillar, thanks to which the car looks low and elegant. Only 2517 were built and the car got no successor, which makes it today one of the most valuable and most admired Czechoslovak cars of its day.
The model belongs in a display case. Remove dust with a soft brush or an air blower bulb, not with solvents or aggressive cleaners, which could damage the paint and the printing. Protect the model from direct sunlight, so that the shade does not fade. With collector's models it pays to keep the original box.
