A finished collector's model of the 1956 Skoda 1201 in taxi form, in 1:43. It is neither built nor painted; once unpacked it goes straight into a display case.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Skoda 1201 was a utility and passenger range from the Czechoslovak carmaker of the 1950s, derived from a postwar design with a tubular backbone frame. It was offered in several body versions and, thanks to its load capacity and simple maintenance, it commonly appeared in professional service. In taxi work it was an ordinary working car of the 1950s, and with the period sign on its doors it is among the typical images of the city streets of the time.
This is a finished collector's model in 1:43, that is about ten centimeters long. It belongs among collector's models rather than kits: it arrives assembled and painted and needs no further work from you. The 1:43 scale is the most widespread one for car models, so the vehicle fits into a collection among other cars of the same size.
Stand the model in a closed display case and protect it from direct sunlight, which takes the saturation out of the colors and the printing. Remove dust with a soft brush, not with a cloth, so that the mirrors, wipers and other small parts are not damaged. Pick the model up by the roof and the chassis, not by the bumpers.
The model is finished; you need no paints or glue for it and they are not included, unless stated otherwise. Whether the package contains a base or a display case is stated by the supplier.
