Responsibility details are not available.
The model of the Skoda 200RS in the starting standard from the Barum Rallye 1974 is a finished collector's piece, not a kit. It comes assembled, painted and with the racing lettering already applied, including the start number 2 and the names of the crew, Horsak and Motal — nothing is glued, sprayed or transferred. Abrex makes the competition standards of the 200RS into a complete collector's range in which the individual cars differ by event, number and crew.
The Skoda 200RS was a competition coupe built in the racing department of the carmaker at Mlada Boleslav. It was not a series car but a prototype intended for use in competition: beneath the body worked a two-liter four-cylinder engine with twin overhead camshafts, that is engineering a class sharper than ordinary production. The cars started with works crews in domestic events, and the Barum Rallye, a traditional event at Zlin, was among the most closely followed of them. The 200RS never reached large-scale production, which made it one of the most valuable chapters of Czechoslovak motorsport.
The model carries the markings from the Barum Rallye 1974 with the start number 2 and the names of the crew, Horsak and Motal. The 1:43 scale is a common collector's standard for models of competition cars, so the model matches the other rally specials in a display case in size.
This is a finished, assembled and painted collector's model intended for display. It is neither a kit nor a children's toy.
