1:48 312th Squadron RAF , Part II

Decals No. 312 Squadron RAF, part II (1:48, AML)

A set of waterslide decals in 1:48 scale from the Czech maker AML, meant for plastic models of British fighters. The sheet brings the markings of the machines of No. 312 (Czechoslovak) Fighter Squadron RAF and as a rule offers two color options with an accompanying color guide to the camouflage and the placing of the markings.

The markings

No. 312 (Czechoslovak) Fighter Squadron RAF was formed in 1940 and during the war flew first on Hawker Hurricanes and then on Supermarine Spitfires. The AML range devoted to this unit maps its particular aircraft and their crews; it follows on from the other parts of the same series.

Application tips

• Apply the decals onto smooth gloss varnish so that silvering does not arise.
• Use a decal softener and a setting solution so that the decal beds into the engraving and the riveting as well.
• Seal the finished markings with a matte or semi-gloss varnish.

Who the set is for

• Modelers building the fighters of the Czechoslovak RAF squadrons.
• Anyone interested in the Czechoslovak airmen in Great Britain in the Second World War.
• Collectors who want to set their model apart with a historically documented finish.

This is a stand-alone sheet of decals, not a kit. The plastic model and paints are not included in the package.
