The AMX is a light ground-attack aircraft intended for the close support of ground forces, for attacks on the battlefield and for reconnaissance. It came out of a joint program of Italian and Brazilian makers (AMX International) and was built until the end of the 1990s. In Brazilian Air Force service it carries the designation A-1. The single-seat machine with one jet engine was designed for operation from short and less well equipped airfields.
Glue the parts with thin cement for plastic and sand the joints carefully. Paint the cockpit and pick out its detail before closing up the fuselage, and glue the clear parts with canopy cement. Prepare the underwing stores separately. Modern ground-attack machines wear low-contrast gray-green camouflage - once the clear coat is on, bring out the panel lines with a fine wash and add restrained service wear.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
