Eduard painting mask 1:48 – Boeing F/A-18F Hornet (TFace)

A set of precisely shaped self-adhesive masks by Eduard in 1:48 scale for models of the two-seat Boeing F/A-18F Super Hornet fighter. The TFace designation means that the set contains masks for both sides of the glazing, outer and inner, so the cockpit frames can be painted as seen from outside and from inside. The masks are cut from kabuki paper and follow the glazing frames exactly.

Use

• You stick the outer masks on the glazing from outside and the inner ones from inside, following the frames.
• The kabuki paper follows the curved surfaces of the canopy and holds throughout the work.
• Painting both sides gives the frames a realistic look even when looking into the cockpit.
• Once the paint is dry you remove the masks and get crisp transitions.
