Responsibility details are not available.
This injection-molded plastic kit in 1:48 scale from Roden captures the late Mk.IV version of the legendary British two-seat fighter biplane. The set holds gray plastic, a clear part and a decal sheet. The model is built from individual sprues and is meant to be glued and painted.
The Bristol F.2B was among the most successful two-seat combat aircraft of the end of the First World War. The pilot fired forward with a synchronized machine gun while the observer defended the rear hemisphere with a flexible weapon. The Mk.IV version came about after the war with a number of changes to the airframe and the equipment, and it served in the interwar period with domestic as well as foreign operators.
Use liquid cement for plastic and make sure the interplane struts are seated accurately. On a biplane it is advisable to add the bracing wires between the wings from stretched sprue or a thin thread. Apply a primer before painting and put the fine shades and the covered surfaces on with an airbrush.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
