Browning .50 caliber with a fixed back plate (2 pcs) 1:48 is a resin detail set from GasPatch models — a pair of American heavy aircraft machine guns in the form for a flexible mount.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is not an airplane kit but a supplementary set from GasPatch models. The package holds two resin castings of the American Browning .50 caliber (12.7 mm) heavy aircraft machine gun in the form for a flexible mount with a fixed back plate, in 1:48 scale. The set serves to refine the armament of plastic aircraft models.
The Browning .50 caliber was an American heavy machine gun of 12.7 mm whose aircraft version made up the main armament of most American combat aircraft of the Second World War. It was used both in fixed mountings in the wings and the nose and on flexible defensive mounts and in turrets, where a gunner worked it. The aircraft version had a lightened barrel cooled by the airflow in flight.
Wash the parts free of mold release agent residue, cut the casting blocks off and sand the surfaces lightly with respiratory protection. Bond the resin with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Bring out the metal parts with steel shades and a fine wash.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
