This printed display base from the manufacturer USCHI van der Rosten in 1:48 scale shows the surface of the Da Nang air base. It is not a model but a high-quality printed base on sturdy cardboard on which you will display finished models of aircraft from the period of the war in Vietnam strikingly. A small photo-etched part for more realism is usually included as well.
The Da Nang air base was one of the busiest American airfields during the war in Vietnam. The print captures a concrete apron with a realistic texture, expansion joints, cracks and operational markings, so that the scene looks faithful and authentic.
Assemble the sheets carefully according to the instructions and back them with a sturdy board as needed. Fix the photo-etched features with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Place a model of an aircraft on the finished surface and complement the scene with equipment, figures of personnel or other airfield accessories.
The base is supplied as printed cardboard to be assembled. A model of an aircraft and figures are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
