The decal sheet HAD models 1:48 Fw 190 F-8 and A-8 holds the markings of the machine with the tactical number black 2 and is intended for a model in 1:48 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
A decal sheet in its own right from the Hungarian manufacturer HAD models for a model of the Focke-Wulf Fw 190 in the F-8 and A-8 versions. According to the name it is devoted to the machine with the tactical number black 2. The sheet is applied to a finished, sprayed model and replaces or supplements the decals supplied with a kit.
Decals from a specialist manufacturer tend to be thinner and to follow engraving and rivets better than sheets from ordinary boxed releases. They also come into their own where the original decals have yellowed or break up during application. In substance these are the period markings of the machine named, transferred to a model according to the enclosed drawing.
The Focke-Wulf Fw 190 was a single-engine fighter with a BMW 801 radial engine, marked by a sturdy structure, wide-track landing gear and good handling in roll. The A-8 version was among the most numerously built fighter patterns, and the F-8 version came from the same basis and was adapted for attacks on ground targets, that is with strengthened protection and racks under the fuselage and the wing.
Varnish the model with gloss clear coat so that no air bubbles form under a decal. Cut the decal out as close to the printing as possible, dip it in lukewarm water for a few seconds and once it releases slide it into place. Fine-tune the position with a brush and water, soak the surplus up and use a softener where there is engraving. Finally unify the surface with a matte or satin varnish.
The package holds the decal sheet only. The kit, paints and varnishes are not included.
