Decals for the Messerschmitt Bf 109G-14 1:48 from HAD models. The sheet offers three camouflage schemes for a model of the late version of the Bf 109 fighter.
Responsibility details are not available.
A decal sheet from the Hungarian manufacturer HAD models in 1:48 scale for a model of the Messerschmitt Bf 109 G-14 fighter. According to the name the sheet covers three different camouflage schemes, so one package will mark several mutually different models. It is neither a kit nor a finished model: it is an accessory in its own right for a model built from a separately sold set.
The Bf 109 G-14 belonged to the late batches of the G family. It was an attempt to bring the production changes made so far together into one standard, so the machines carried a range of features that had until then appeared only on part of the output, among them a taller vertical tail and revised canopy panels. The powerplant was an inverted V12 Daimler-Benz engine of the 605 series. Given how widely the production was spread across plants, individual machines of this version differed noticeably from one another.
Finish the model in color and spray it with gloss clear coat, as a decal will not silver only on a smooth gloss base. Cut the design out close to the printing, dip it in lukewarm water for a few seconds and let it rest until the film moves freely on the backing. A decal softener will help draw the film onto the engraved lines, the panel joints and the fabric surfaces of the control surfaces. Once it has dried completely, seal the model with a matte or semi-gloss varnish according to the surface you want.
The package holds the decal sheet only. The model, paints and varnishes are not included.
