1:48 F-4C Phantom

Yahu Models F-4C Phantom instrument panel 1:48

A finished color-printed instrument panel from the manufacturer Yahu Models for a model of the F-4C Phantom II fighter-bomber in 1:48 scale. The panel is supplied painted and with faithfully rendered dials, so you improve the cockpit without laboriously painting the individual instruments. It is fitted in place of the plastic part from the kit.

What the panel is for

The photo-etched, laminated instrument panel adds sharp rendering of the dial faces and realistic coloring to the cockpit that a plastic part cannot manage. Installation is quick, as the panel is only sanded to thickness and glued in place. A lower sub-panel for a complete look of the instrument board is usually included.

Usage tips

• Separate the panel from the fret and degrease the surface.
• Apply the glue sparingly, ideally super glue or a glue for photo-etch.
• Protect the cover of the dials from soiling, as it imitates the glass of the instruments.
• Before gluing it in, check that the plastic cockpit part has been thinned enough.

Who the panel is for

• Modelers who want a realistic cockpit without painting dials.
• Builders of jet fighters in 1:48 scale.
• Those looking for a quick and effective improvement of the instrument board.

This is a finished detail accessory for a model, not the kit itself. Paints and glue are not included in the package.
