New Ware kabuki masks — F-4E Phantom nozzles 1:48

Pre-cut masks in kabuki paper (fine washi tape) from the manufacturer New Ware, intended for painting the exhaust nozzles of the early F-4E Phantom and of the F-4EJ Kai in 1:48 scale. The set relates to part I11 and serves as an accessory for a plastic kit; the model and the paints are not included.

Use

  • The masks follow the shape of the nozzle exactly, so slow cutting of tape falls away.
  • Suitable for an airbrush and for a brush; kabuki tape holds well and does not let paint creep underneath.
  • Ideal for clean transitions of metallic shades on the nozzles.
  • Once the paint has dried, the masks come off easily without damaging the finish.

Who the set is for

For modelers who are building the Phantom in 1:48 scale and want to separate the painting of the nozzles cleanly from the rest of the airframe.

An accessory for a model. It does not contain a kit or paints.
