Responsibility details are not available.
A set of photo-etched parts from the Czech manufacturer Eduard for refining the exterior of the model of the American jet fighter Lockheed F-80 Shooting Star in 1:48 scale. The photo-etched metal parts fill out thin exterior elements such as panels, hatches, grilles and blanking plates, which injection-molded plastic cannot render faithfully. It is not a model of an airplane but a detail accessory; the basic kit has to be bought separately.
The Lockheed F-80 Shooting Star was the first American jet fighter in wider operational service. It came about at the end of the Second World War and saw combat in the Korean War. Its smooth, clean shapes are rewarding for the addition of fine photo-etched detail.
Separate the parts from the fret with a sharp knife and clean up the cut faces. Use a bending tool or a straight edge for the bends. Glue the photo-etched parts with super glue (cyanoacrylate) and degrease the surfaces before the clear coat.
This is a detail accessory, not a model. The kit itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
