This is not a kit of an aircraft, but a resin weapons set: precision-guided GBU-53B glide bombs mounted on a BRU-61 carrier rack, in 1:48 scale. The set serves for realistically arming modern combat aircraft that carry this armament.
The GBU-53B, also known as the Small Diameter Bomb II (StormBreaker), is an American precision-guided glide bomb of small diameter with multimode guidance able to strike moving targets as well. The BRU-61 carrier rack makes it possible to carry several of these bombs on one pylon, which markedly raises the number of munitions carried.
Wash the resin parts free of the mold release agent, cut the casting blocks off and smooth the surfaces. Glue with super glue (cyanoacrylate) and protect your airways when sanding. Paint the bombs according to the period regulations and bring out the markings and the panels; if the set holds decals or photo-etched parts, use them for the greatest fidelity.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The model of the aircraft itself, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
