Resin figures of a German and Austro-Hungarian aircraft crew of the First World War in 1:48 scale from Aerobonus. Figures to be painted; this is not a model.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin set of figures of a Central Powers aircraft crew from the First World War — in a version for both the German and the Austro-Hungarian air service — in 1:48 scale from Aerobonus (the Aires range). It is not an airplane model, but a set of accessory figures meant to be painted and set beside a period model or into an airfield scene. The crew figures suit the two-seat machines of the era in particular.
Aircraft crews of the Central Powers in 1914 to 1918 wore the leather gear of the early era of aviation — a jacket, a helmet with goggles and a scarf. Figures of a crew, that is a pilot and an observer, give two-seat biplanes and a period diorama the authentic atmosphere of the beginnings of air warfare.
Wash the resin parts free of mold release residue, cut off the casting blocks and clean up the joints with respiratory protection. Glue them with cyanoacrylate glue. Paint the figures before assembly; a primer, warm leather shades, matte cloth and faces brought out with a dry brush and glazing all work well.
The figures are supplied unpainted and cast in resin, to be glued and painted. Paints, glue and a base are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
