Responsibility details are not available.
This die-cut self-adhesive Eduard masking set in 1:48 scale is meant for a plastic model of the German Heinkel He 111 bomber. It is not a kit or a model in its own right but a set of precisely shaped masks in thin yellow masking tape (kabuki). The masks will be appreciated by modelers who want sharp color transitions on the glazing, the wheels and the camouflage fields without slow hand-cutting of tape.
The Heinkel He 111 is a German twin-engine medium bomber of the Second World War. It became known for the extensively glazed nose, which gave the crew an excellent view. It was flown from the start of the war as the main strike bomber and later in a range of other roles. It is exactly the large amount of glazing that makes masking its cockpit the most demanding part of painting.
Degrease the extensive nose glazing thoroughly. Lift the masks off the backing and lay them patiently on the individual panes, working systematically field by field. Fine-tune the transitions and corners with a strip of tape. Spray the paint with an airbrush in thin layers so that it does not creep under the edge. The wheel masks separate the tire from the rim. Once dry, peel the masks off carefully at an acute angle.
The package contains masks only. The model, paints, glue and decals are not included, unless stated otherwise.
