A pre-painted photo-etched instrument panel from the Polish maker Yahu Models for the Soviet Polikarpov I-16 fighter in its early version, in 1:48 scale. It is not a kit but a finished detail accessory for the cockpit. The panel is made up of laminated photo-etched layers, which give the dials a raised, three-dimensional look, and it is printed in color including a gloss varnish imitating the glass of the instruments. It comes ready to use, so painting and varnishing fall away.

Use

• Take the panel out and, if needed, clean the edges up gently.
• Glue it in place of the original instrument panel in the cockpit.
• Thanks to the gloss varnish the dials look realistic with no further painting.
• On models from various makers a little trimming to fit may be needed.
