Figures of German sailors in 1:48 scale on the theme of a ceremonial parade of the Kriegsmarine during the Second World War.
Responsibility details are not available.
Kriegsmarine is the name of the navy of Germany in the Second World War period. Besides putting to sea, its ordinary life also included ceremonial parades and reviews at which the crews stood in formation in prescribed uniform. A modeler appreciates such a scene mainly because the figures give it scale and at the same time suggest what is happening in it.
The set contains figures in 1:48 scale on the theme of a ceremony of members of the Kriegsmarine. The number of figures, their posture and any accessories are stated by the manufacturer; before buying, go by the illustration and the data on the box. The figures suit a diorama on deck or in harbor and equally bring a larger ship or aircraft model to life. In the same scale they can also be combined with vehicles and buildings, so they can be worked into a more extensive scene.
Cut the excess material off with a sharp blade a little away from the part and sand the remainder back gently, so that the folds of the cloth and the details of the equipment stay legible. Choose the glue according to the manufacturer's instructions: on parts that are not polystyrene, plastic cement has no effect and cyanoacrylate or two-part glue is used. Before painting, wash the figures in lukewarm water with a drop of detergent and let them dry. Apply the paint in thin coats, lighten the raised areas and darken the folds, so that the uniforms do not look flat.
The package contains the figures stated. Models, paints, glue and bases are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
