An injection-molded plastic kit of the German Messerschmitt Bf 109 G-6 fighter in Finnish Air Force markings, in 1:48 scale from the Ukrainian maker Unimodel. The package contains plastic parts on sprues, a decal sheet with schemes and building instructions.
The Bf 109 G-6 was one of the most widespread production versions of this single-engine fighter of the Second World War period. It was powered by a Daimler-Benz DB 605 series engine and was characterized by the covers over the guns in the front part of the fuselage. Bf 109 aircraft of the G series were also used by the Finnish Air Force, which deployed them in its own colors and with its own national insignia.
Cut the parts off the sprues with a sharp knife and glue them with thin cement for plastic. Finish the cockpit and the landing gear before closing the fuselage. Before applying the colors we recommend a primer; an airbrush makes the camouflage schemes easier to manage. Apply a gloss coat before the decals and go over it with a matte one once dry.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
